SKATING
CLASSES: “Kiddies
Roller Skating Club” in association with the Club is conducting skating
classes for children between the age group of 4 to 12 years at the Club premises
periodically. Mr. Navin Acharya, Organizing Secretary, Kiddies Roller Skating
Club, Panaji-Goa and State Coach is the instructor. The fees are Rs. 500/- per
course of 30 days, thrice a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 6.00 p.m.
to 7.p.m. |

BHARAT
NATYAM CLASSES : “Shristi
Arts” in association with the Club is conducting Bharat Natyam classes
at the Club premises on a monthly basis. Professional & well known artist
Ms. Mala Gaur is the course instructor. The fees are Rs.350/- per month, twice a
week Wednesday and Saturday between 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. |

MODELING
CLASSES : Charmaine
Shackleton Godinho, winner of many prestigious awards including “The Femina
Look of the year 1995” & head of Chrysalis Modeling Academy, in
association with the Club, auditioned prospective models in December and trained
6 selected models to grace the cat walks, ad. campaigns, etc of Goa and the
national glamour scene. |

YOGA
CLASSES : Devi
& Sujit Guha Chowdhury, qualified Yoga Therapist & Instructors, in
association with the Club are conducting yoga classes (Yoga & Meditation for
Good Health, Inner Peace and Happiness) at the Club premises for members and
guests. Two regular batches from 7.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. to 8.00
p.m. are being held thrice a week, for a 2 months duration,
from 14 January, 2004. |

FESTIVE FAMILY EVENING
18th DECEMBER 2003 :
The Club organized
a "Festive Family
Evening" on 18 December 2003 from 7.00 p.m. onwards on the eve of the Goa
Liberation Day. Entry was free for members and attractive gifts were handed out
to children by Santa Claus who danced and played with the young and old alike
while Shelton went Solo with his inimitable style of music. There were games and
prizes for kids and parents, snacks & drinks were served and a special multi
course buffet was laid out for the members and their guests. A total of 185
people attended the evening.

GYM CUM FITNESS CENTRE
C LUBE
TENNIS DE GASPAR DIAS has
inaugurated its New Gym Cum
Fitness Center at the Club
premises, managed by FITNESS ZONE – Miramar. It is equipped with state of the
art equipment, is fully air-conditioned and has professional instructors both
male & female. The timings are from 6.00 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. with exclusive
ladies timings from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Membership is open to both members
and guests. Programs are available for Body Toning, Weight Loss, Muscle
Building, General Fitness, etc. One of the highlights of the Gym is the Body Fat
Monitor which gives you the percentage of fat in your body, so as to enable one
to know the exact amount of fat lost and/or muscle gained.

Club.

Chess Championship cum prenational selection
for under – 11 & 13 years boys and girls organized by Goa State Chess Association
was held at the Club in the month of November 2003.

RAAS NITE 2003 5 OCTOBER 2003 : th
At the colourful
event held on Sunday 5 Oct., 2003 over 500 participants from every community
from all over Goa, dressed in unique & colourful ethnic Gujarati &
Punjabi dresses danced their hearts out, as they celebrated the Navaratri
festival.

CONTEST : Rotary
Club of Panaji organized a Poster Contest for children in the age groups of 10
to 13 years at the Club.
MANOHAR
DHOND MEMORIAL – CLUBE TENNIS DE GASPAR DIAS ALL GOA RANKING BADMINTON
TOURNAMENT 2003:
The
above tournament was organized with the assistance of the Goa Badminton
Association from 29 September 2003 to 2 October 2003 at
the Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji. Chief Guest Shri Sanjit Rodrigues
–Commissioner, Corporation of City of Panaji and Guest of Honour Shri Ullas
Kamath Sr Sales Manager, IOC Ltd. distributed the
prizes.

CHESS TOURNAMENT on 8th JUNE 2003:
Goa State Chess Association in
collaboration with Clube
Tennis De Gaspar Dias organized Chess Championship cum Pre-National
"B" Team Selection Tournament at the Club's
premises on 8th, 4th, 21st and 22nd June 2003. The
Prize distribution ceremony was held on 22nd to give
away the prizes to all the winners and runners-up of
different categories.

| BRIDGE TOURNAMENT on 6th JUNE 2003
Goa Bridge Association organized the Annual Inter-State Bridge
Tournament at the Club's premises on 6th, 7th and 8th June 2003. Inauguration
ceremony was held at 1300 hrs on 6th June 2003 in the presence of Chief Guest,
Shri V. M Prabhu Dessai, Director of Sports, and Guest of Honour, Shri Gurudutta
Bhakta, Hon. Treasurer of Sports Authority of Goa. Participants from all over
India came for the events. |

THE PERFECT WOMAN on 21st APRIL 2003:
Mrs. Amita Quenim in association with Clube
Tennis de Gaspar Dias conducted "The Perfect Woman", a one week
course on comprehensive grooming of attitude, personality, and looks, suitable
for teenagers, housewives, infact for any woman who is ready for "Perfection".
Activities: Personality Development, Public
Speaking, Beauty & Health tips, Talent development etc. Lecturers presented
by a prominent Professor, Doctor, Beauticians, Business Person.

TEDDY BEAR ACTIVITY CHAIN for KIDS on 7th APRIL 2003

Tennis de Gaspar Dias conducted a two week "Summer Camp" for
children in the age groups of 5 to 11 years.
Activities: Games, Painting, Dancing, Gardening, Talent
& Fancy Dress competition, Craft, Picnic and many more.
