Independence
Day
was celebrated as usual on Wed. 15th August
2007 starting with the flag hoisting ceremony
followed by an exciting morning of games and
competitions leading to a sumptuous buffet lunch. |
 The
traditional Annual Disco Dandiya Raas Nite 2007
a night of music, dancing and revelry was held
on Friday 26th October 2007 with resounding
success attended by hundreds of colourfully
dressed members and guests. |
 To celebrate DIWALI the festival of lights the club organised the "Diwali Dhoom Dhamaka" on the
6th and 7th of November 2007 which included an Orchestra
and throbbing DJ music, a Narkasur contest, Rangoli
competition, Deserts competition, Akash Diva
competition, Fency dress competition and ended with grand buffet dinner and dancing. |
| Christmas was celebrated with a grand X'mas family Fun Day complete with grand decorations, an imposing decorated X'mas tree, grand stage and puldating music, Dance and other competitions with numerous attraactive prizes that were won followed by a well-laid X-mas dinner spread enjoyed by all who attended. |
| "Goa
Bridge Festival" held on 21st to 23rd July
2007 conducted by Goa Bridge Association. Chief Guest
Hon. Minister for Tourism Mr. Mickey Pacheco distributed
the prizes. |
| Goa
Cultural and Social Centre in collaboration with the
Club celebrated "Eminent Goans Day" on 25th
September 2007 to focus on the life and work of eminent
personalities of Goa that have made this land proud by
their achievements in different fields of life. |
| All
Goa Drawing and Painting Competition for mentally
challenged children from Special Schools from all over
Goa held on 6th October 2007 organised by Disha
Charitable Trust in association with the Club. |
| Special
Olympic Bharat Goa, felicitation function was held on
Wednesday 21st November 2007 at Club's Multi Purpose
Hall in honour of the special Olympians who has made Goa
& India Proud at the world special summer games
Shanghai 2007. Shri Digambar Kamat Hon. Chief Minister
of Goa was the Chief Guest. |
| Rotary
Club of Panaji Riviera along with Jyot Society of Parents
with Autistic Children organised Christmas Party for
Autistic Children on 19th December 2007 at the club's
premises. |
| Goa
Carrom Association conducted annual State Carrom
Championship on 1st and 2nd December 2007 and 12th and
14th January 2008 at the Club's premises. |
| "Late
Manohar Keni Memorial" Bridge Championship was
conducted by Goa Bridge Association in association with
the Club on 29th and 30th March 2008. |

Goa Table Tennis Association from Wednesday 15th August 2009 at the Club's Inddor court. Chief Guest Dr.Susane de Souza Director Sports & Youth Affairs distributed the prizes on the finals day.
